Do you leave work like right on time. Like, I mean waiting by the clock to clock out and leave. Like, you won't stay at all? Or do you know someone like that?

I'm hourly so, yes, I usually leave after my shift is over. The exception being is if someone calls in minutes before I clock out, of which, I'll stay to make sure their issue is resolved or ticketed for the following AM if it's not time-sensitive or requires involvement from others for approval or assistance.

But like are you basically rushing to get out?

Sometimes, if I have things planned like dinner reservations, a date, or have something that I'm anxious to get home for, like new episodes on TV, delivered items, new games, etc.

If not, nah. I'll usually wait for one of a handful of colleague friends and just talk as we walk out to the parking lot.

Yeah. That's what I mean, I guess. If I have something to do, that's one thing. But I never feel like I have to rush to get home almost immediately every day after work. At all the jobs I've worked at, I don't think I've ever noticed people rushing to get home until this job. And it's only really 2 people. Sometimes, a third, but it's iffy with him...

Yeah. That's what I mean, I guess. If I have something to do, that's one thing. But I never feel like I have to rush to get home almost immediately every day after work. I mean, there's some days when I just don't want to be there like if I'm feeling like crap or exceptionally-tired or just had a bad day. On those, I'm out the second the clock hits 5PM.

Usually, it's meh. Works not going anywhere and your problems will likely still be there so buckup.

Yeah. I mean I work all the way til the end but once the clock strikes I'm gone, nothing's keeping me around.

I leave early...and Im hourly. No one cares too much at where Im at. But, I have friends and family who either puts in extra hours (salaried) or leaves as soon as their shift ends (hourly).
