LiqiudusSnake 10/28/18 3:01:57 AM #7:	To play devils advocate here, jump scares can actually get the pulse racing so that the horror has a longer lasting effect. Look at the new blair witch for instance, there are a few, but they seem to set up the real horror moments better. That being said, there was really only one scene in the witch the was kinda creepy, the rest was really boring and a chore to watch. The omission was deliberate and I respect that about the movie. They didn't need things to pop out at you.
