Which series do you prefer? I like X better so far (got all the legacy collections and 11, I've played Mega Man 1-3 and 11 and Mega Man X1 and started X2). I like how much better you can move in Mega Man X.

X through X3 were the golden years
X was probably the best game ever made regular mega man is still great though. i just beat 11 and had a blast --- "Tell me, tutor, is revenge a science, or an art?" ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think I like the grittier feeling of the Mega Man games a little better than the X games. (in particular the Wily levels in MM1 and MM2.) gameplay-wise, X is clearly superior.

Same for the same reasons. Walljumps and dashes let you use the whole room. Not that the older games are bad.
