I was going to post (and solicit others to post) their top 10 predictions for posterity, but then I realized that entirely hinges on when the rules changes happen and I don't know when they do... until I googled some of last year's archived topics.

I can't even visualize some of these rounds. Like, 22 saves at final five? I can't picture any character getting 22 saves. I mean, I definitely like Vincent's chances even less now, sadly. Or rounds ending in less than an hour and a half.... damn.

Though I'm sure 2 weeks from today, 6 saves and 2.5 hour rounds will seem like child's play.

So I guess this is my top 10 predix:

Red Mage

Cid Pollendina

Kefka Palazzo

Vincent Valentine

Squall Leonhart

Vivi Ornitier

Seymour Guado

Ashelia "Ashe" B'nargin Dalmasca

Lightning
Oerba Dia Vanille

But I really have no idea how any of this will shake out. Will be interesting to see!

Youd be surprised. The final round at 25 saves barely lasts an hour, usually.

Do we at least have designated pre-planned round start times by that point or is it still random? I can get away with checking for new rounds every 5-10 minutes when I'm at work, I guess I'll need to live with only getting 1 save in for that round otherwise.

Realistically I'll just work from home that day and yeah, probably get on discord... isn't discord like, an audio chat program? Is that required to be unmuted to hear the "ping" of the round or can you just sit there with everyone muted but still get the "ping" regardless? I need to investigate this probably...
