Let's say I know the population of a city (731449)
And I also know the number of people who died in car accidents in that city last year (59)

How would I find the number of deaths per 1 million population?

So I was thinking

(deaths/population)*1000000

But someone in my class told me that was wrong.

I think the answer is like 80.66180964086355. But you would round to 81 in a million, I guess.

I think you would do 1 million divided by 731449, the multiply the answer and the 59 to get it. I believe...
