Did you notice that when you first saved the game, the save file said "Kris", and then you REPLACED IT with the name you chose as "the creator" from the beginning? If Kris is possessed by Chara, it's entirely possible it was done when you started up the game. A lot of people in the game comment on how Kris is quiet, possibly quieter than normal. I have theories about what is going on but since they mainly involve Chara, Gaster, or both theories they remain until more info is available. I went in with trepidation that this would either undermine my feelings towards Undertale with unfortunate Word Of God concepts or that it wouldn't be nearly as good. I left satisfied that Toby still has it and that this has the potential to be as good as UT, if an extremely different experience. That's not a bad thing. The carousel looks like it should be easy but it always fucks me up. I can't figure out the ultimate attack and I'm not sure it can even kill you.
