I've been on a bit of an Irish kick lately, and it's spurred me to start hashing out a bit of a writing project that's been percolating for a while. Does anyone have any good recommendations for Irish music? I'm not looking for hard rock or anything of that nature. What I'm mostly looking for is that folk rock flavor, but honestly I'll take any suggestions.

New York Girls is in Assassin's Creed IV! I recognized it right away. These were pretty great, Snake. Rose Tattoo was probably the closest to what I was looking for.

Glad you liked them! I love Irish music, so it's always nice to share some. I wasn't expecting Rose Tattoo to be the type you were looking for actually.

I saved nine of them on spotify for playlisting while I'm writing.

It's somehow more haunting than the original version of that song, weirdly.
