I can't relate in terms of being a teacher but I can relate in terms of work. Which is to say, if you work with the public you're going to interact with some people that treat you horribly and there's certainly been times where I've wanted to smack the shit of customers that were insulting and/or threatening me but you just have to stand there and take it. Many reasons for this and its mutually beneficial for both the individual and the police department. He got stuff thrown at him, insulted, & more than once a student had walked up to him and tried to stare him down, like those whos going to punch first moments. The school was located in a suburban neighborhood but some schools had closed down so a lot of students were transfers from schools in Oakland & Richmond. The quality of the school went down. It was a weird sight to suddenly see a group of girls with leopard leggings and two of them holding babies.
