0.5% lead with only Dem counties left reporting as of this hour; He steadily closed a 2-3% deficit as Democratic counties started to pile on. This makes him one of the few survivors of the red state Dems.

Final result in this case is +3 GOP for Senate; Helps make this a little more tolerable for them but outside of Kemp/DeSantis and these Senate races Republicans really got railroaded. 7 democratic Governorship flips (some in key 2016 races) and a sizable shift in the house.

Funny side note: Remember Osoff and that whole scramble for Georgia's 6th district and how him losing was supposed to be a dire sign for Dems? A Democrat flipped it lmao

Where are you putting Florida and Arizona?

R, both

1: I don't see a recount correcting 30,000 votes. Florida is just a true tossup state and Nelson bit it.

2: I don't see how Sinema closes the gap? I've heard there's somehow a lot of votes left to count so I don't know. It'd really be bad for the GOP to potentially lose both Arizona seats in 2018-2020 (since Dems will gun for the open seat next election.)

I'd love for Nelson/Sinema to win, because then the GOP gain is +1 and we actually mitigated forever-losses like Indiana/North Dakota, but i'm not optimistic.

McSally is leading by 15,000 votes, and there are still about 600,000 early votes not counted yet, primarily in Maricopa county which leans Dem. Dont assume McSally is likely to win just yet.

Yeah, I don't think Nelson necessarily will win, I just didn't know if you had already counted him or not.

Idk about Arizona. People need to count votes better/faster.

We will see. Sinema seems like the kind of person anyone with a level head could get behind.
