Super Slash 11/09/18 8:46:16 PM #1:	Got the true ending. My first time finishing the game. I originally started it on the DS, but I thought the translation was wonky and awkward, and more importantly, having to restart the game for every single ending and having to do all the escape rooms 40 thousand times sounded really tedious to me. The flowchart is a fucking lifesaver. Even with it, the game was longer than I was expecting. Can't imagine finishing it on the DS version. Started VLR too, only about an hour in. NO SPOILERS PLEASE! Might make a topic about it if there's enough interest. Anyway, I wasn't enjoying 999 much at first, but once you get to the point where you start getting the endings it picks up a lot. I still think even in the PS4 version the translation is awkward at times, and there's a lot of grammatical errors/run-on sentences; coming from Danganronpa it's a bit awkward to see. Still, it all paid off in the end; some of the twists were really well done, ESPECIALLY near the end where we find out the narrator is not Junpei, but Akane seeing the events through Junpei's mind. I also suspected Akane was Zero once she started randomly disappearing, but there are a few things I still don't understand about her/the story as a whole. I'm guessing VLR is gonna answer these questions. VLR is a big change in tone though, holy shit. Even the graphics/presentation are completely different!
