In regards to the use of force at the border, that is what government authority looks like. Guns, fences, barbed wire, and incompetence. Thats also why Im a libertarian, I rarely think such force is justified. But border defense is government 101.

When you want to apply for asylum, you're supposed to go to the nearest safe country. For Central Americans, that is not the USA.
This even assumes they need asylum and aren't just border hopping because reasons.
The fact is no matter how you put it, and it's nothing to do with with them being brown, we need to control the border, put a pause on all of it, and deal with the millions of undocumented people here already
