It's been a mixed bag for me. Getting closer to graduation, lost some friends but gained others. Going to my native land for the first time this semester. However, very unproductive summer as I was unable to secure an internship, and I still have anxiety about post-graduation.

Started off very poorly, but started going up around the beginning of May, and now has been pretty swell, all things considered.

Not been too bad. I've had a rough few years where I pretty much lost my mind and was a total mess. This year has been the first where I've mostly been stable. I think not being in a relationship has helped. Kind of lonely but there's less stress. Got my relationship with my family back to how it was years ago after being quite rocky. I've had so many great moments with my daughter, probably the most fun year so far with her. Mental health is crappy but there's been no huge crisis this year. Physically I'm the worst I've ever been.

to answer the question- this year has been really good, all things considered.

i did a lot of exploring like a vagrant over the summer and early in the year, visited a ton of states for the first time and met a lot of interesting people. that kind of tapered off as i returned to my apartment and began working from home again with a stable job. i was able reflect on my experiences and set up additional goals for growth.

i've been transitioning away from reliance on a specific job that requires i domicile and remain in the us to work (even though it's remote) so i can live out of the balkans/europe/asia/south america wherever indefinitely. planning on doing 1-4 months at a time and moving. right now my finances are there, i just want to make sure that cushion is as good as i can get it before i take that plunge.

if anything this year has really set me up for a great 2019, while managing to still be really satisfying as well.

Lost out on a promotion at my last job, so I quit and ended up getting a much better job a couple months later.

Gaming has been pretty shitty this year, but I've been too busy raising my baby daughter to have time to play anyway.

-still living at home with my mom and two idiot brothers
+paying off my payday loan debt
+spent 10 days in Florida (Daytona Beach & Orlando) went to Universal Studios & Disney World
-still a slave to payday loans
-it'll probably be another 2 or 3 years of paying off these fucking loans until I can move out again

Pretty good I guess. Started my phd, which has been boring so far, but at least I'm getting paid for it and am actually being somewhat productive. I got next to nothing going outside of that though.

mixed bag. work has been quite successful, I've pulled myself up a bit too in my personal life. Getting more active, spending less time on CE/staying home. Started getting back into the gym the last month too which feels great, gonna join a real gym as opposed to the crappy one in my apartment building and start getting back to getting in shape.

That said, down a bit. met a girl I really liked for the first time in years this past year but didn't work out. the real bummer was after pursuing her for a while we did end up hooking up and moving closer to a relationship but she pulled back on me one day. I'm still disappointed about it and see her around from time to time, so while its not awkward it does constantly bring up emotions for me.

lucky, don't think i'm going to be out of here until winter ends unfortunately. i would not be opposed to visiting africa generally speaking though i did not mention the continent above.

Pretty good. Doing well at work and in line to get a promotion before year end. Found out wife is pregnant with twins. After she delivers, she'll be able to finish out her school year teaching and stay home with our three kids.

This. I understand being broke but how broke where you and how many curveballs did you get thrown where you needed to rack up that much in payday loan debt?
