I just got Crash on Steam and I'm playing the originals for the first time. I played one or two levels on the PS1.

No nostalgia, these games are pretty great. It was a little annoying how it had a built-in 60 fps cap I had to get rid of. It controls so much better than the originals, it's not even close. The PS1 version had like half a second of input delay.

Probably going to cave and buy either a ps4 or Switch during Black Friday.... only thing kinda holding me back is the fear that a better version might come out (especially with the Switch) and, of course, the fact that I don't game as much (granted, the Switch kinda helps there by increasing access)

Eh I'll buy Spyro when cheaper being as only one of the games are actually on disc. I haven't bought the crash collection yet and apparently a crash + spyro bundle is going to be a thing so I'll maybe buy that at some point.

For what it's worth, both the "new switch" and "new ps5" are just rumours at present, and not anything actually hinted at. Especially with regards to the switch.
