His fortunes have seemingly turned around since his return, though, with three of his best five performances coming since. Ramza rises from 44.77% to 47.72%, good for a ten spot jump to 55th.

Can we explain the Double Easter round, and more importantly why a lawyering would make it that we have an extra boot?

It was decided that being lawyered out in the hardboots section was extra unfair, so (I think) that character was softbooted instead. But to keep the same number of hardboots, 85th place was demoted to a hardboot that year.

During a year when Ramza had his best support (prior to the redemption fun and maybe even including then) as part of an alliance called CRY that got 2 of its 3 members (plus ally Barret) their best finish, Ramza was the only failure.

He went out on a surprise double round that took place on Easter Sunday. It turned out all of his main supporters (including myself) were Christians and therefore not around. The rest of the alliance could not get him through both rounds.
