This only ever happened to me twice in the whole fucking game and it was super choreographed the first time, and the second time it was part of a super shady story moment I should have anticipated.

First time was antagonizing back and forth with some dude

Game just said "fuck you" and he went straight for a knife kill

second time I was shooting and some fucks in the swamp and as i turn to face a dude he just knife kills me straight to the throat. No melee. No prompts. No nothing. Just dead.

First time was at least a little more understandable from a "talk shit get hit" perspective
