So far so good it's going great for me. I'm still in the training stages but the training is so thorough I'm understanding Java much better than ever. And the pay is solid. Sheet taxes i get 1586 every two weeks basically. I got my first paycheck last week

I'm a few weeks I'm going to get my own place in Hartford. Right now I'm just trying to save up and prepare for the move, but based on the pay I should be able to get an apartment and okay the rent without struggling.

It's just a good opportunity to grow. Now I'm doing more than sitting in my Mother's living room all day playing video games or struggling with minimum wage type jobs. I miss my family but this is for the best I can actually help out now too

If not for CEs advice I might have just stayed home and in my comfort zone not doing much and swimming to my neck in debt

Hartford Connecticut! It might sound lame but it's kinda close to my home in NYC lol at least closer than where I'm at now (Indiana)

So far I'm having fun in Indiana it's nice but I can't live out here lol I'm getting excited thinking about when I move back to the tri-state area

Some if the girls are cute it here though.. mainly in the YMCA they have that college athletics type vibe pretty cool

They gave you the job with no experience? Congrats, that's a great step

Yeah I'm working at Infosys. Its a huge step up. My only professional experience is as an IT intern. Now my salary is going to be 57,000 a year, before taxes. Just two months ago I was basically unemployed except for working random Sundays serving fast food.

The training is so so thorough we started at the basics all the way with primitive data types and bytes and working our way up to objects classes, regex and Monday we're going into collections. I have a much stronger knowledge of Java than any college course just from being at work. And this is just the first week of Java. I learned a whole new language, python in 1 week as well.

Its 8 hours a day 9-5(we got off at 4:30 though) straight coding and learning and I'm getting paid and the instructor is great and engaging. Its just what I wanted crazy, how your much things can change in just a few weeks
