FE6 is fuckin busted against 7. Still a fun game, better than most FEs, but there are some chapters in there that stick out horribly against the rest. A lot of characters that you'd be too stupid not to use if you're playing just to win and not for the Supports

It's definitely more challenging than Blazing Sword. The enemies are certainly more competent, and bosses, as well. The maps can get too needlessly large, symmetric, and uncreative, however. But it's better than FE7 in the regard that bows do triple bonus damage to fliers instead of double bonus damage, which makes your archers more useful. Although the magic tomes in this game were much too unbalanced in this game, in that they had basically no weapon weight. Enemy sages could double your units with bolting if they so wish. The weapon experience distribution in FE7 is far better than that of FE6; for example, some weapons in FE7 gave two or four weapon experience while every weapon gave the same one weapon experience for every single weapon. Status staves were definitely too broken in FE6; I preferred it in FE7 where the range of these staves was half the magic of the caster instead of the caster's full magic stat. And the weapon accuracy in this game isn't really good, which is something that FE7 improved upon. FE7 improved upon a lot of things introduced in FE6, but the only complaint I have about FE7 was the watered-down bonus damage, and the lack of competent enemies.
