And the reason, in my opinion, is because it is embarrassingly easy to get into a random law school, the school then does a piss-poor job at training its students, and the state bars at the end are almost always a joke with pass rates often above 50%. I can't think of any other profession where you can be so unqualified, and yet be allowed to practiced. whitelytning 11/20/18 12:48:24 PM #7:	What also happens in law is that usually the worse the law school the more effort they put into teaching towards the bar to try to get their students to pass at a disproportionate rate compared to the kids with better grades/LSAT scores that went to a better school. The bad law schools usually require a bar prep course or two while the better schools don't waste their time with it. Law school does do a decent job of thinning the heard between the first year and the bar exam but there are still a lot of people in the profession. It also varies by state a lot. I'm happy that pass rates are going down lately.
