Video games - Games that require your full attention are the best for this, mainly competitive multiplier games. Raging at people online makes you forget your problems. Internet - eh, somewhat. Music - somewhat. Books - Same as TV. Alcohol - Makes me feel better for a short period of time, but just makes thing worse overall. Gambling - Nah, unless money is the problem and you go all in. Pharmaceuticals - I don't take anything that would alter my behaviour. And I don't smoke, either. Plotting revenge against your enemies - Executing it helps.
