Due to interest from Discord, I decided to create another mock bracket, this time for Game of the Decade II. I know a lot of us are anticipating it to various degrees, so hopefully I did the field justice and didn't exclude anything too major!

Important Note: I used the following criteria to determine eligibility:
- The game must have been originally released in the 2010s (2010-2019) in North America, regardless of its release date in its country of origin.
- If a game has no version that has been released in North America, its European, Australian (if known), and Japanese release dates in that order of preference are used to determine its eligibility.
- Enhanced versions are allowed only for games that were originally released in the 2010s in North America (or if the original version was not released in North America), and must be substantially different from the games original version (ex. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth).
- If a game had an alpha, beta, or other test version available prior to the full versions release date, only the full versions release date is considered.
- Only games from 2018 and before are included, because I cannot guarantee sufficiently strong reception (or even releases on schedule in some cases) for 2019 games.

Hey, glad you like my bracket! Just a few thoughts I have on your points:

- Yeah, I guess the high seeds I gave FF13 and 15 are a bit weird for their mixed reception, but my thinking was that the competition (both in their series and in general) isn't as tough as the original GotD.
- It's actually the original Xenoblade I have as a 1 seed, not its sequel, but I suppose I should moved Persona 5 to a 1 seed in its place, given the three Xenoblade games all jockeying for bracket positions.
- I seeded Tropical Freeze lower because my impression was that it just didn't have nearly as many players as Returns, which would diminish whatever reception advantage it may have.
- Curtain Call's not as impossible as you think - it's got a strong 4.37/5 average rating by 967 GameFAQs users, for example.
- Honestly, the last time GameFAQs really cared about a Call of Duty game for more than a few months was the original Modern Warfare. I guess that makes any Call of Duty a long shot to make the bracket, but then there's a quagmire of games, of which many seem like long-shots, as you get into the 12-16 seeds (which also ties into my choice of Curtain Call for a slot). As for Black Ops 4 specifically, I chose it because it's the most recent Call of Duty, and because its Blackout mode has been very well received (in the battle royale subgenre, which as you know is a big deal these days).

Good bracket. Yet there's no way League of Legends could make the bracket?

I know it was released in 2009(LATE 2009), but still, you think it should be in there due to it's influence alone? Does game release date really matter as much anymore? People will plays games for years in the 2010s. Get updates, patches, new expansions, etc.

Also I think Pokemon Go should be seeded higher.

I decided it was more important to stick to hard-and-fast eligibility rules than leave a broad gray area by including League regardless of its 2009 release. Even if you or I were to reasonably conclude that League has been among the most important games of the 2010s despite its 2009 release, there's no reliable method to determine which games with pre-2010s releases should be eligible, and I can't fairly make an exception to my set criteria for a single game.

Also, seeding is ultimately determined by nominations, and I don't think all that many GameFAQs users would nominate Pokmon Go.

Persona 5 against DQ11 in round 2 is brutal

Pokemon Go wouldn't be that strong, in retrospect I might take xenoblade over it. Xenoblade is perceived as actually being good which makes a difference
