For the purposes of this scenario, the parents of the toddler have passed out from the smoke.

For the purposes of this scenario, there are no other loopholes or situations that somehow allow you to miraculously save both.

I'd choose the baby cuz honestly I'd probably assume the dog is dead if it were just laying there >.>
