More than 2,750 have sought refuge in a shelter set up by the mayor's office. The town's mayor has said he expects the number of migrants in the city to reach 10,000 in the coming weeks. I was under the impression that the vast majority of the caravan wouldn't make it through Mexico, but here we are. Regardless of whether you support the caravan or not, I can't foresee a future that doesn't lead to violence if we legitimately end up with thousands of people at the border demanding access at once in a town that already wants them gone. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
