Im giving weight to the testimony of the adults regarding the escalation of pulling out the gun. I havent said I didnt think the man didnt deserve to be arrested, I have already stated earlier this is clearly racist, a racist man harrassing teens for their race, I do believe that has to be some crime here for that. Im just saying its possible the man wont be charged with sort of crime that convicts him around the handling of his gun. But again, we have to see what the courts rule after hearing all the witnesses.

Having said that, if I were a cop, I would definitely find it more common sensical to arrest the guy with his gun out than bunchnof teens. Again, thats why the courts are there, if there was any error of the arresting officers in the moment then theyre there to correct that.

I just dont think Im being as unreasonable as you make me out to be is all.

Agreed. Chances are one or more of the group got upset at the guy early on in the exchange and decided they weren't just going to ignore him, and tried to intimidate the guy physically to instigate a fight, so they could have a excuse to hit him, but that's when shit hit the fan because he was armed. Not saying the old guy should be let off the hook as it seems he possibly started it, but I doubt the group of teens were completely innocent and he drew the gun unprovoked. The McDonald's employee who said the man had a reason to draw the gun should have spoken up to the police when they were investigating afterwards if he really saw something. Anyway, this is what happens when people with biases and / or mental issues decide to start shit and is why I can't stand most people in general.

Did the man instigate the physical provocation or did he react to it, or if even there was any at all? What are the precedents in cases similar to this in the state hes in? Thats the thing, you guys always want to act as judge and jury the moment a story breaks, thanks god we have actual courts to do this for us and look at the incident with some actual depth. Maybe that makes me unreasonable, but thats what I think.
