It would be a lot better if it opened up faster and Midgar was shorter because that's the best portion of it, though. It was one of my more "middling" FF games in terms of when I played it (I think I played VII, VIII, IX, X, and maybe V prior), but I liked it a lot at the time. But now I can't stand replaying it.
