All ONE did was "We're not modern or future." And that's all it was.

Games have dropped unusually quick this year. Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Fallout 76, Hitman 2 and now this have all had severe and quick price drops shortly after launch.

Lack of customization really did it in. That was the main complaint of everyone I know who was a fan

It's just doing homework it was pretty obvious those three games would flop being bf v, tomb raider, and fallout 76. heres a freebie just cause 4 will be discounted soon after release.

Companies are realizing that if you get bad press/complaints, they can usually be negated with price drops. Then you just piss off day 1 buyers and everyone else is just like "meh it can't be that bad for like $30."

Some money is better than no money.

Rdr2 is the only game released this year that has not had a $20-$30 price drop for the basic edition within the first two months of release(so far anyway).

There really is no reason to buy $60 games anymore.

You're basically paying $20-$30 extra to play a month early.

It's not only bad games though. Even spider man was $35 within a month of launch on sale.

Word was already getting around of length and being a largely story based game, people likely wouldn't buy full price after seeing it on numerous streams a month after launch unless there was an incentive(price drop/sale). Even a small bump in sales for less money is better.

No seriously dude, rdr2 is the only game this year to not have a $20-$30 off sale within a month or two of launch.

Where?

As far as I'm aware the digital sale on PSN for Black Friday is the first time this game has gone on sale since launch.

Just to be clear that the physical copy discounts are decided by the retailers and the digital ones are decided by the publisher right?
