I feel like we're just drawn to them. They're the coolest looking sneakers ever to me. I remember throughout school, like, all the Chinese girls would be rocking a pair. Vietnamese dudes would have the fancy All Stars that are fully tricked out.
Hell, now I have this urge to go out and drop some money on some Chuck high tops.

Obviously, this isn't exactly true but just an observation I noticed. Gonna go get me a pair.

Seems to me like converses are the shoes trendy people start with and then tend to graduate from.

I see asian people wearing Common Projects or equivalents a lot:

That's probably why I like them so much. They manage to look cool to me while being very basic looking. They have a very timeless, retro feel to them too.
