4/5. He was actually an activist about climate change, even if Reagan and his son weren't.

Did a few good things here and there but what president (who lived more than a month after being put in office) didn't? Sat idly by and let a hundred thousand or more die from AIDS because of his hatred for gays. Between 2 and 3/5.

A low bar, but Bush I cleared it even before Trump thrust it through Earth's nickel-iron heart.

Hell, I'll just quote this

Anyone who is responsible for funding reactionary cocaine traffickers to try and destroy a recently liberated country led by the progressive Sandinista revolutionaries; ignoring the suffering and deaths of innumerable amounts of people from AIDS because of homophobia and racism; racist campaign ads; the deaths of innumerable amounts of people from the invasions of Panama and Iraq: the destruction of the manufacturing sector and the loss of millions of jobs because of NAFTA; kicking the mass incarceration, lumpenization, and ghettoization of the black and Latinx working class into overdrive; supporting the destruction of the Russian economy and causing mass suffering in the former Warsaw Pact nations; watching crack cocaine spread like wildfire and not doing a damn thing to help the people who were suffering; trying to ban an entire genre of music; and doing nothing as the epidemic of police brutality started to rear it's ugly head and even letting these killer cops get away with it, is not worth mourning.

The ends justify the means though right? This is why its clandestine work. The work the public doesnt need to know about. Bush was the GOAT at that

You didn't exist when most presidents were in office but it kinda helps that recorded history is a thing.

Just means I only have a cold, objective opinion instead of a personal "I lived through this" view.

Looking at his records, he was an evil man who targeted minorities.

The world is a cold place.

Some people who lived through Reagan's presidency get the nostalgic warm fuzzies because their lives happened to be good at the time, without considering the destructive and far-reaching impacts of his economic policy.

Don't hurt yourself on that edge there.

He was a shit president that bent his knees to the democrats and supported their push to raise taxes, which was ultimately used against him by the same party that pushed for it.

^Not true

The line later hurt Bush politically. Although he did oppose the creation of new taxes as president, the Democratic-controlled Congress proposed increases of existing taxes as a way to reduce the national budget deficit. Bush negotiated with Congress for a budget that met his pledge, but was unable to make a deal with a Senate and House that was controlled by the opposing Democrats. Bush agreed to a compromise, which increased several existing taxes as part of a 1990 budget agreement.

For anyone that can't read what he just wrote, Bush did exactly what I said he did like the weak president he actually was.

"Supported" is what you said.

But according to you he should have been like politicians today and let the government shut down, ok (there actually was a shutdown related to this led by Newt Gingrich, how about that).

Letting the democrats threaten him into welching on his campaign promises isn't what the voters elected him for, a man who can't call their threat and stand his ground is a spineless self-serving coward that has no business living with sharks, and anyone that actually knows about government shutdowns will tell you it ends after a week or two with a paycheck to every man and woman that went unpaid during the time.

No, the problem with the government is that Republicans are the only party that actually compromises because they've revealed to a bully that they can be scared into submission. Which is the same crap that the government has been doing with North Korea.
