Did a few good things here and there but what president (who lived more than a month after being put in office) didn't? Sat idly by and let a hundred thousand or more die from AIDS because of his hatred for gays. Between 2 and 3/5.

The world is a cold place.

Some people who lived through Reagan's presidency get the nostalgic warm fuzzies because their lives happened to be good at the time, without considering the destructive and far-reaching impacts of his economic policy.

Don't hurt yourself on that edge there.

He was a shit president that bent his knees to the democrats and supported their push to raise taxes, which was ultimately used against him by the same party that pushed for it.

Bush negotiated with Congress for a budget that met his pledge, but was unable to make a deal with a Senate and House that was controlled by the opposing Democrats. Bush agreed to a compromise, which increased several existing taxes as part of a 1990 budget agreement.

Letting the democrats threaten him into welching on his campaign promises isn't what the voters elected him for, a man who can't call their threat and stand his ground is a spineless self-serving coward that has no business living with sharks, and anyone that actually knows about government shutdowns will tell you it ends after a week or two with a paycheck to every man and woman that went unpaid during the time.
