It's definitely the way that Rockstar intended the game to be played. Story wise, again Arthur in the cutscenes is pretty much full good in every scenario, questioning everyone's bad acts or scolding people for acting like legit outlaws. Trophies require stupid shit like get killed by a bear 5 times. Is Arthur canonically capable of reanimating? Also just a random example, but that cutscene when Arthur beats the shit out of that socialist farmer dude for his debts and then tells him to sell his wife and children is NOT full good. That happens in like Chapter 2.
