i cannot wrap my head around people who think "paying for something" automatically means they are entitled to no ads

Wow

You literally unironically said that

i have you tagged as "says 'pro-abortion'"

you really shouldn't be commenting on what anyone else literally unironically says

The moment you are caught saying something so stupid, the only way you can save face is to claim the other guy might have been taken out of context to possibly say something dumb too because omg a tag.

That just makes you look worse.

LOL I don't have hulu but whenever I put something on pause it's to go and do something else. So nobody would be watching the commercials. What a dumb concept.

this is like ad arbitrage......if its paused then we can assume the viewer has left the viewing area.....who is the ad penetrating? fake impressions, advertisers will not be happy

i've said nothing stupid in this topic, nor anything that i need to save face over.

https://help.hulu.com/en-us/ads-no-commercials

Tl;dr

People actually pay to have...NO ads

They still get ads

And you think they are not entitled to no ads?

But in general, ads in content already paid for is just pure greed.

Funny that I can buy manga and it has bo ads but a comic book has them all over the place.

If we listened to comic companies we would assume it impossible for manga authors to make money and yet they are rich.

It's perfectly logical.
For years, viewers got up to go pee when the commercials came on. Thus, why not run ads when the viewers get up to go pee?

I'm entitled to no ads if I pay for ad free on Hulu-hosted content. If it's hosted by the channel, they can do what they want with their ads as long as they leave my DVR alone (because I pay to skip commercials). >_>

they are entitled to exactly what the service they are paying for offers, which seems to be outlined pretty simply in that link you gave, sooooooo

The service offers for ads to be gone. But hey, go ahead and shill for a company that names their product ad free and still has ads and blame people for not reading fine print.

If it's hosted by Hulu, you can avoid ads. If it's live TV or recorded TV it's possible to avoid ads. If it's hosted by a network (like CW), it's impossible to avoid ads. How is that too hard for you to understand?
