I'm a telemetry tech. I monitor and read heart rates for the doctors on the cardiology floor, and I'll notify the nurses when something happens to the patients.

I think I'm going to go back to school to do CT or X-Ray tho

12 hour nights from 7pm-7am

but shift diff is nice plus I only work 3 nights a week so I get long stretches off. Sometimes I work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night then I'm off until the next Thursday to work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night.

I fail to understand why so many people in healthcare LIKE long shifts - coming from having worked in retail, trades, and labor jobs. Like we'd be so happy if we worked 8 hours. Yet in healthcare people FIGHT to work 10-12 hour shifts. There was a huuuuge fuss from my coworkers trying to get my boss to rework the entire department to get 10 hour shifts. Worst idea ever. Like the labor movement fought to eliminate long shifts -- and now we're fighting FOR them? seem so regressive.

Long shifts are great if you get more days off.

I love it in turn based jrpgs, but not action ones. But then, I don't really like ARPGs anyway.

Grinding is only fun if the core gameplay is fun. JRPG grinding is just mashing through menus with the occasional healing spell. Monster Hunter's core gameplay is engaging enough that people keep playing long after there's anything practical to grind for, hence Fashion Hunter.

I'd kill for 4 10 hour shifts a week tbh. An extra day off is not to be taken for granted. 3 12,13 hour shifts is a bit much though.

Really? I'd figure it would be the other way around

Grinding is much more of a chore in turn-based jrpgs because it takes longer

You just press a though

I work 7/14 days. 12 hours sucks, but its worth it for getting literally half the year off.

There should be A LITTLE grinding in an RPG so you feel like you went on the adventure with them.
