He literally uses the death of 41 to promote his racial anxiety bullshit. And then he whines about how "WASP rule is over" when the presidential cabinet and intern and aide pool are the WASPiest they have been in decades.

He also says meritocracy is bad and that SAT scores shouldn't be used in lieu of recommedations from powerful friends.

I'm not going to point out the things he did that weren't racist to try and argue with you. Was he racist? Probably, although I wouldn't say at all that his life and time in government were defined by racism.

He did some bad things in life, but he also did a lot of good things. You and people that agree with you act like you're being realistic by thinking of him as a terrible monster, and that people saying good things about him are thinking of him as a saint who did no wrong.

It pretty much evolved over the course of several immigration waves:

White: pretty obvious
Anglo-saxon: mostly to exclude German immigrants, probably also Jews and eastern-Europeans as well.
Protestant: mostly to exclude Irish immigrants.

This is a good article. I don't think he's specifically arguing FOR it. He seems to be arguing that we're the ones who miss it.

Not only that, but you even end up with an elite that literally uses the same strategy of exclusion that WASPs once used against Jews to preserve its particular definition of diversity from high-achieving Asians with the only difference being that our elite is more determined to deceive itself about how and why its discriminating.

Incredibly chilling way to look at what's going on right now. Very accurate.

WASPs may no longer be as visible or culturally dominant as they once were, but they haven't lost control. My research seems to suggest they can still be found manning levers of power in the military industrial complex and the deep state.
