wrong @cjsdowg

on May 13, 2014, Hardy was arrested for assault and communicating threats, after he was alleged to have assaulted an ex-girlfriend by grabbing her, throwing her into furniture, strangling her, and threatening to kill her. On July 15, a judge found him guilty of assault and communicating threats, and sentenced him to 18 months probation, suspending a 60-day jail sentence. When Hardy appealed the decision, requesting a jury trial, the victim failed to appear in court to testify. As a result, the prosecutor's office dropped the charges, citing their inability to locate the victim, and "reliable information" that the two parties had reached a civil settlement

With the explosive power and training that football players have it should be interesting to see how he does.

Wrong nothing... He was not did not face jury of his peers as outlined in you Constitution. Until then he is still innocent until proven Guilty. NC have laws that force "minor" crimes to go in front of the judge first. If you don't like that out come you get your right to the jury trial.

I remember some sports analyst talking about meeting Greg Hardy and Ray Rice. Rice supposedly seemed like a decent guy overall who made a huge mistake, and seems to have done his best to lead a solid life since. Hardy on the other hand had a very weird vibe about him, and other people have said this as well.

So, by this very simple(even though untrue) standards, I am guessing you would never have an issue with any acquittal.

I am not defending hardy, I am defending the system. And I don't care if a Judge found him guilty we are entitled to see a jury of our peers. The fact that people are forced to see judge should be stopped. One judge could be bigoted , sexist , or anything else. And North Carolina is full of crap judges. I have care for Hardy. However there are a lot of people out there who really are innocent and this system hurts them.

That explains why she failed to show up in court. Money money money.

Ostovich was pulled from the card because she was assualted by her husband a month ago and her continuing to take this fight after that was supposed to send a message or something about being stronger and surviving domestic abuse

Greg Hardy was a controversial figure in the NFL and even in the UFC for beating his girlfriend
