Q seemed afraid of her early on.

Q is responsible for basically everyone's first encounter with the Borg including Starfleet. Only exceptions would be things like Species 8742.

If Q is afraid of her it's probably the episode where he loses his powers a Guinan stabs him with a fork and she's like "Human enough for me"

Q is one of my favorite characters in all of Star Trek. Picard and his interactions were always great

Am I the only one that didnt care much for Q episodes? I thought the character himself was pretty great but most of the episodes just sorta fell flat with me. Like a good sci-fi show establishes a set of ground rules and his entire purpose is to break them.

Star Trek rarely cared about the rules. The show was about the characters. In one episode Data contracts a biological virus that makes him drunk.

Eh, thats a fair example but generally their episodes that broke the rules were worse than the ones where they solved the problems without bullshitting.

Q follows the rules set up in The Squire of Gothos, with the antagonist Trelane from TOS.

There have always been uber powerful, possibly higher dimensional characters in Trek.
