I've never been able to get a card with more than 1500 for now. That's why it was shocking to me. I have one card (well technically 2, but the second is a Macy's card so it doesn't really count) and the limit is $5000. They have been begging me to up the limit to $10K for a while now, and I keep telling them no because I have no reason for it. I use that card for pretty much everything and I never owe more then $750 on it at a time. --- I am a senior software engineer.
