SpiralDrift 12/09/18 12:35:35 PM #15:	I was sitting in the lobby with my child, who is disabled, waiting to speak to the producer about an appearance on the show to promote my charitable organization, Big Hope For Small Children. All of a sudden a man walks out wearing nothing but a Hawaiian shirt and slippers with disheveled hair. I didn't recognize him at first but later realized that it was the star of the show, Fred Rogers. He walked up to us, wiped his hand on his shirt and extended it to me, which I shook because I was honestly just in shock at the time and would have rather had him focused on me than my child, who didn't understand what was going on but was easily excitable. We exchanged a few words and then he tried to turn to my child, but I just held his hand so he couldn't. At this point he just looked at me sideways, grinned and stood up. But then he just stood there as if waiting for me to do something. I was horrified. After about five of the most awkward and terrifying minutes of my life he mumbled something about missing The People's Court and walked off.
