For reference, the area rug is 12 feet long. Its actually a pretty huge room. Don't mind the bareness, furniture (bar, barstools, chairs and tables) is coming all within 2 weeks time supposedly.

Shown with black felt. They are coming this week to install it.

They told me I can choose a color since they have to do the felt and everything on the spot and they will bring several colors. I ordered black, but then traditional green is very tempting.

Don't think I've ever actually seen black felt on a pool table before, just green or maroon.

Is the finished room going to be basic black, white and grays? If so, the green would stick out like a sore thumb.

As a person who shoots a fair bit of pool, I like it. It's different and I get annoyed at shitty bar table lighting hiding my 6 and fourteen edges when I'm trying to walk it down the rail.
Nice looking table, do you have space to use a full cue down the sides? If not, felt color doesn't matter. I don't consider elevating the back of the cue a decent workaround

I think the black would look better. Black pool table felt is something I don't think I've ever seen before, so it'd look especially interesting in there. Plus, I think it matches the room better than green felt would.

Black. Not only will it look better in the room but it's something different. I get tired seeing green all the time despite loving the color.

I don't think I can do multiple quotes using my phone, just going to answer a few questions.

The room size I designated for the pool table is 20' x 18' (well technically it is longer than 20', the other half of the room will be a video gaming room). I think the room is just under 40 feet long.

The furniture will have the colors, the main color will be blue. Brown and blues. So there is some other colors other than grey and black.

Maroon (felt) was an option long ago but my old house was decorated with blacks and reds, and I'm not doing red again this time out.

I did specifically choose black felt because it does look cool and it should compliment the room but blue was originally on the table as well but blue furniture fabrics + blue felt seemed way too much blue.
