Peachs Group Hug in SMRPG was op

In others like FF6, using Cure 2 or 3 and expanding it to all at least lowered to potency

Tank + Strong single target heal + moderate heal all is usually all you need in a game.

Frog's Heal spell isn't that good so it doesn't break the game. Also multitargetting your cure spells in FF4 isn't terribly effective.

but Robos group heal is OP when you first get it, and remains relevant for most of the game.

Generally true yes. Dragon Quest 8 is a prime example. Once Angelo gets his party heal the entire feel of the game shifts.

well, only really if you give him magic tabs, which you should do because he becomes one of the best party members if you boost his magic

Earthbound is another one. Once you get an all heal spell it gets easier from there. Also having Poo makes the game GG EZ
