Not my fault you don't understand basic public health concepts such as herd immunity. Plus unvaccinated children are a huge danger to immunocompromised people, like those work lymphoma, leukemia, transplant recipients and people with HIV/AIDS.

tbh, my paranoid brain came up with a theory. the parents subscribe to "survival of the fittest" and "weed out the weak" idealogy so it's okay if someone gets sick because their kid didn't get vaccinated "that's just natural selection!"

Same. I refuse to get flu shots for the same reason I refuse to get shots that prevent my skin from turning into millions of spiders. Whether or not I get that shot, my skin won't turn into millions of spiders. Whether or not I get a flu shot, I won't get the flu.

Vaccination isn't a slippery slope any more than needing a driver's test to operate a car in public streets is.

If you want to go out in public, you have to demonstrate basic responsibility for the safety of yourself and others. If your unvaccinated kids give measles to an immunocompromised pregnant woman and her baby has birth defects, you should be held directly responsible. It's not her fault that you have no basic knowledge of immunology and you think you're not a threat.

Typhoid Mary thought she wasn't a threat, and killed dozens because of it.

We should force anyone who doesn't want to vaccinate to live in one designated state. Montana or some other state with huge amounts of space. Then when they've all died off from preventable disease we can hold that up as an example of the folly of not vaccinating to future generations.

The anti-vaxxer movement is the biggest mark of shame in all of individualist thought. Self-determination is one of the most important values, but people are not free of social obligations if they choose to exist within society. Protection from disease must be part of the social contract. If there is one thing I'm full-on collectivist about it's vaccination.
