When I first started playing, there was a special offer for Deadpool for 4.99. That's the only thing I spent money on because my roster was low at the time and it seemed like an okay deal.

Other than that, it's been strictly f2p.

Yeah they are all so costly, they must have a ton of whales to have those prices and it works. Though my alliance does have a whale that spent a grand to get Magneto.

And all these stupid fake notifications is getting on my nerves. Stop telling me I have 2 orbs when I only have 1 orb. Stop telling me my campaign energy is full, when it is clearly not.

Speaking about notification.. is anyone getting notifications over and over. I don't know if it is just happenstance but ever since the last update. I will get my notification belling just ringing like crazy .

I bought the new Spider-man but I dont buy often.

Man really need my tech team up for Miles... But I also need my blaster team up, as those catalysts for purple gear need so damn much of.

i sometimes get an itchy trigger finger and just wanna see if they give you a notification before spending 600 cores on opening an orb but nope.

that's DC dude. Lex Luthor is in the DC game which does exist actually. but it sucks. I tried it. I know not everyone reads comics. but at least know which company a character is from. I don't think that's too much to ask

Still can't 3 star the Ultimus nexus one... He keeps always managing to kill one of my guys. Been using Kingpin, Luke, Korath, Quake, and Jugg. Hulk takes the first hit, Kingpin can summon 2 disposable tanks, Luke and Jugg have deathproof, Korath and Quake attempt to slow him down. Technically should last 5 turns with that, but I need that slow to land on him... and even he randomly manages to get another hit in before the operator.

oh and for some (pretty stupid)reason i thought that the red stars were additive... eg. if you got 2 stars for the same character twice it would add up to 4 stars total.

somehow i thought they would make maxing out characters "that" easy and yeah, it was definitely too good to be true xd.

still haven't figured out what elite red orbs do though.. maybe pick your own character to pull red stars on?

The basic red orbs highest chance is 2 stars. The elite ones start at 4 star, and you can only get them from enough repeats of red stars you already own.

the ones they gave out in the beginning gave me from 1 to 5 stars. i mentioned in the previous topic i was blueballed with 5 star magneto >_>

The only way to get an elite orb is to gather shards from regular red orb pulls and get duplicates. You can read all this by going to the elite orb in the orbs section of the game. I did not say regular orbs only give 2 stars, their highest chance is 2 stars.

and yeah, i've gotten duplicates before so i know they're the only way to get elites. i just initially thought a duplicate 1 star luke cage would add up to a 2 star luke cage >_>

yeah i already cleared medium but you don't really get as many orbs as you do on hard

plus RNG will screw me over and give like 4 character shards per opening

Well the minimum is 5 which means you only need to hit 9 orbs to get him. I'm hoping to get 4* but I don't think I'm going to be able to clear the last two hard stages with my team.

Eh, you just need to get their levels, and abilities up. I am managing to get through with the only high level being Crossbones at 63 and somewhat Korath at 55. Ant Man, Merc Lt, and Ravager Stitcher are around lvl 40 with tier 5 gear and somewhat upgraded abilities.

Yeah a lot of the hard to get characters are tech or mystic.

Managed to 3* the last stage on hard. Mostly got lucky I think. Team power was 89k.

I cleared medium, but not without a lot of blood, sweat, and (so, so many) tears. I won't even attempt hard lol.

I don't want to spend too much upgrading tech characters I don't really use when I still have my A and B teams to work on. Crossbones I didn't mind fully upgrading since he is on my B team, but I spent way too many resources just to keep Ravager Boomer from falling any time the enemy sneezed.

Wish I had Merc Lt or Ravager Stitcher, sounds like they woulda made this way less a headache.

Ravager stitcher is a bad character and would not have helped.

Cleared stage 2 of the enter the darkness nodes. It's annoying that they cram so many healers in these stages.

Managed to get 4 star Miles. I'm not sure how anyone was supposed to finish this Milestone in time even if you did spend money.

I'm one short of Kree minions to do the Nick Fury event. So yet another event I'm sitting out. Not that it would matter since not a single one of them has been trained anyway.

You are supposed to build up all the crap units. Well cept hydra. You gotta get Shield for Iron Man, you gotta get Kree for Nick Fury, you gotta get Hand for the relics, you get Mercs for the gold. Also non crap units like Defenders for ability shards, Mutants/Brotherhood for Magneto, and there is probably something I am missing.

their event structure is such bs.

you can't use heroes in certain events like kree but you can in others like gold.

i guess only minions are able to "chase" heroes while the rest is fair game... a mistake i realized too late >_>.

but seriously they need to make it way more clear like just by having access to view the events even if they won't show up for another month or two.
