that's thing though

this game has so much scripted, quality content and missions that are not tracked at all, and random stranger encounters that the player might never encounter, and none of that counts towards completion percentage in favor of the few crummy collectible missions

like who tf thought this shitty bird plume collecting mission was worth including here, let alone required for 100%

I can't leave Annesburg without tripping over a bear. You should also check that river area near Willard's Rest.

The fact that there are some purely luck-based missions among it (Gambler Challenges, anyone - the Blackjack ones in particular are pure luck; the Poker ones simply have a luck element and can be overcome with skill, and of course 5FF is pure skill) was the blow that made me decide not to pursue it, at least on my first run. I might when I play through a second time.

so *arbitrary measure for completion* is false and instead *insert other arbitrary measure for completion* is true?

i mean, 100% doesn't have to be an "arbitrary measure". it could mean "100% of missions"

instead they made it some arbitrary measure that doesn't account for most of the good stuff (aka the stuff I don't want to miss). for example, I'm well past the end of the game and I just now encountered a new stranger mission chain

Do animal kills/compendium count towards it? IIRC there were a couple of animals in Guarma that don't show up anywhere else, and you can't go back in a non-glitchy way

Also, just a side note, I think it's completely fucking amazing that I have dumped 250 hours into this game so far and am still encountering unique stranger missions that I haven't done yet
