Been sitting in a drawer since around 2010, still fully charged from when I last charged it.

It's cuz those systems actually power off. Nowadays everything goes on "sleep"

I wonder if the battery capacity has remained the same all that time.

I have an older phone where if you leave the battery in, it'll drain over time, even when it's supposed to be fully off

But if you take it out it keeps a charge just fine

I have no idea what it's doing while it's supposed to be off

While on the subject of DSs and battery life, has anyone had issues with their 3DSs battery? Mine is draining in like four hours. If I dont have it on the charger at night, its dead in the morning. Its crazy that the DS has (apparently) such a good battery and the 3DS is shorter. Are we able to change the battery in the Switch?

Some games where down the battery really fast.

If youre playing Dream Drop Distance or anything with 3D graphics 4 hours is about right...

What model do you have?

At least so far it seems to still be the same beast it always was.

DS Lite has like a 20 hour battery. It's the fucking best!

I hate how the switch and 3ds only have 3 hour batteries now

You'll get around 20 hours off of one charge, it's great.
