so my new 55" samsung qled fell onto its face (onto a carpeted floor) after i lifted its cardboard box off and went off to do something else

fortunately, it was still wrapped up in all of its plastic/tape/thin styrofoam wrapping, so it didn't receive any cosmetic damage as far as i can tell

and i've since installed it and everything actually seems to be fine, but with that said, i'm scared that something might've come loose internally or something (the thud it made was loud) that could degrade the tv's lifespan

considering that they (the manufacturers) have to account for these things being tossed around and experiencing the overall roughness of the shipping process, though, do you guys think it'll be fine?

like, are these newer tv's decently sturdy and tough pieces of equipment?

If it's broken then return it and claim it was like that when you took it out

If you were gonna do anything about it you should have done it before you completely unboxed it.

Probably just have to wait around for it to catch fire now.
