Wow, what a productive topic.

Not saying it's true, but do you have evidence of the contrary in 2018?

Excuse me, I think people in this this topic is saying that anyone who voted for Trump is a racist.

But either way, what makes someone a Trump supporter? Agreeing with all/most/some/any of his decisions? Liking him as a person? Having general respect for the leader of the country?

You used the word supporter, not voter. So I addressed the supporter part. Many who voted for him aren't supporting him anymore, so a distinction should be made.

Do you have any examples you can provide of non-bigoted Trump supporters in 2018? I wouldn't be asking if I could think of an example of my own.

I mean if you're being serious, what is the definition of a Trump supporter?

I think Trump is a disappointment as President, his twitter/loudmouth act has gotten old, and I don't like a lot of his decisions but he's made a few good ones. He honestly seems to be anti-war. I also think it's a joke that he gets hated on for every single thing he does.

Am I considered a Trump supporter?

You defend him at every opportunity and whine about liberals constantly

I think it's accurate to say that for many people on this board at least, anyone who doesn't hate Trump = Trump supporter = bad.

I mean it's a good thing real life isn't anything like political discussion on this board.

college liberals dont even have much influence over the democratic party, let alone the government of the united states.

they're also not nearly as far-left as media tells us they are--nor are any on the left with any political significance in the US, really. the stereotype college liberal you're thinking of is an extremely tiny minority that has no national organization.

american conservatives are very far to the right, though, and they run the republican party to the point that when ann coulter criticized trump for not getting the wall funded, house republican leaders bowed to the demand that any funding bill include wall support.

they've drifted farther and farther away from the center over time, and despite what we may want to believe, the democrats and most of their core supporters have stayed the same.

gerrymandering is a big part of this. you kill that, you shatter the control that neo-nazis have over republican primaries, and you'll see house members who moonlight with the KKK like steve king and pete sessions obliterated in primaries, simply because if they aren't, the democrats they'd face in the generals would reliably win.

competitive districts yield moderate politicians.

Kinda lame to base your political position around "how will history think of me?" A lot of liberals base their social views around this and solely this. You hear it come out, almost verbatim, when you reach a particularly emotional part of the conversation.
