Current Events > Extremely frustrated with an issue in Gimp

I'm trying to create a circular text. Except I can only get it to wrap the inside of the path (counter clockwise) instead of the outside (clockwise). I can't fill it in with the bucket tool, and if I try to flip/rotate/etc it, all I do is flip/rotate/etc the original text. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm on Mac btw...

I'm just hoping my issue was caused by an older operating system. I'm gonna try it again on my Windows 10 computer later.

Well, I tried it. I was able to get the text to go on the outside like I want but I'm still unable to manipulate it. All trying to rotate it does of rotate the text.

I got it to work. I was just missing a couple steps (Delete the text, followed by Path to Selection).

Okay, now the problem is I can't get rid of the selection (which shouldn't be able to show up when I do open as layers on a seperate file).

Now I created a new file with a white background and redid it. I got an outline again like on my last attempt, so I deleted the background, which I was gonna do anyway, and that deleted the outline. I'm done now. I guess I sadly may be the only one here who uses Gimp. It's an awesome program. Free too.
