I love both, but I have to go with Red Dead Redemption 2.
it's tied with being game of this generation with Bloodborne, for me, but I'm playing through Breath of the Wild (and digging it), so things might change --- b-bb-box ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think RDR2 is technically a better game but I had more fun with GOW.

GoW was entirely forgettable and RDR2 was too boring to play past 10 or so hours. I'd put the damn Secret of Mana remake above either for goty honestly...
