On Christmas Break, and have totally ruined my sleep schedule.

Been talking to a few girls from the random dating apps. Even went on a date with a girl last week that went really well. But she hardly texts back and Im assuming will ghost me.

Dating is exhausting and tiring. Thought that girl and I hit it off great on the date. Even kissed her at the end and she kissed back and was really adorable about it.

Oh well. Why should things ever work out in my favor? People just dont like me for whatever reason. Meh. Guess this is just what itll be like from now on.

Living that true loner life nowadays.

i hear you man. bummer but at the end of the day, its just a girl from a dating app, honestly its totally her right to ghost after a single date.

just go on lots of dates till you find you hit it off with AND she texts u back. you'll go through some ups and downs but when you find the right person it'll have all been worth it

No, you need to stop complaining since you clearly talk to girls and just went out with one. How can you be lonely unless you didn't have fun with them. Then that would be called depression, not loneliness

Stop it TC seriously stop looking for "the one "
It's a spastic fairytales and lies taught to us from an early age. Yeah I sound cynical but I thought I found the one this year and she told me I was her person in the whole world. She dumped me last week, I guess she turned our to be a player.
My advice is don't look for a wife or that amazing romantic relationship, just go out with friends and have fun.

Teacher. That sucks...I remember not being able to go home from break one year. Thats equally miserable.

But damn. Id kill to be back in college around friends. So much easier to make new friends. To meet girls. To just be social.

The real world is rough, my friend. Enjoy college while you still can!

I think for now you shouldn't worry too much about the future. Just have fun in the moment, hang out with friends, go on dates, try new things, get out of your hometown.. etc. Things will happen when they happen, if you try to "force it" you'll almost always wind up disappointed.

Sounds super cliche but I think it rings true.
