Earlier this year I completed XBlaze Code: Embryo for my 95th platinum and wondered why the game existed when the connection with BlazBlue was so pointless. This kind of fixed that as some of the characters from the series are actually a major part of this story. However, it's annoying that 80% of this game is either a really bad dungeon crawler or a retelling of the first game from a different perspective, which makes no sense whatsoever. It does gives a nice epilogue to this mini-series and connects it back to the series it spawned from, which is a nice surprise. Though I felt that the first 80% was so bad I might have just considered it the worst game I played this year, but the ending really helped in that regard, so it's not that bad of a game, it just takes a little too long to get to the important parts. I gave it a 3/5 on TT and I think that's a fair rating for it.

This isn't a rhythm game, but no, I haven't given up on that - I just haven't had a chance to play my PS4 when I was at my parents' house for Christmas. Should get back to those this week and finish them to end the month. This was just a side-diversion for a TrueTrophies challenge that I'm almost done with, though it might take a few more days to finish. Oh well, a four day weekend is coming up anyway, so I'll have plenty of time.
