just think of undead enemies as extra grinding opportunities

For the record, I'm at the map where Mustadio and his father were taken hostage and I have to fight two Summoners, two Archers, and two thieves (?). I can't kill anything in one hit, but I can get super close, but every single goddamn enemy has some manner of healing, so it means absolutely nothing.

Fun tip for that fight, choose not to help Mustadio. All it does is remove the lose condition for him dying, the battle otherwise plays out the same and you still get to recruit him. You miss out on gaining some bonus Brave, which is pretty much inconsequential in a game where Mediators exist.

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together - undead enemies who massively outclass you and return to life 100% of the time after three rounds, in a game where magicka starts at 0 and a basic Life spell costs 100 magicka to cast (and exorcism spells are very limited and expensive as well).

I came back to FFT and groveled at the feet of all the ghosts and skeletons in the game after giving up LuCT's trolly shitshow.

No, Phoenix Down is the best Item vs. Undead. It's 100% guaranteed to kill them.

Yep. In both games, you really need to rethink you life decisions if you can't handle the undead. They generally only show up on maps where you'd expect there would be undead and there are several counter measures. It's actually easier to deal with undead in LUCT, just bring Kachua or Presance for exorcism... easy.

Yeah TC -- just take your time with the game. They encourage outside the box solutions so just powering over everything is legit but there are many other solutions to problems.
