DragonImps, you're still pretty much my VGMC buddy! And...once AGAIN, our favorites lists have nothing to do with each other! But at least your HM's are on my list. Edit: Oh, wait, there's Lost in the Waves. That's good.

Killing Two Birds avoids a doubling. Don't Speak Her Name isn't so fortunate. Interesting that even with 44 votes, a four-vote swing makes that a tripling.

That's a really impressive showing. Now it looks like Infestation has the ability to win it all, too, just like Scourge. For Don't speak her name! to lose even worse than Briefing, though.... that's pretty bad!

Edit: Just realized Infestation and Scourge are in the same bracket... it could be interesting if they face each other in the bracket finals.

Two songs from the same game haven't faced each other since VGMC1 when Scars and DOTSBAW both reached the finals.

Raging Waves has way been too suspenseful this contest. And people seem especially divided over it. Whoever wins the tiebreaker probably loses to NWO fairly easily next round. NWO isn't exactly my ideal retiree.. its maybe my fifth favorite of that 12-pack.

See something interesting? Yeah, Challenge to the Vertex over TBIYTC is #4 on both lists...and in both lists, its own loss in Round 2 is one of the three ahead of it. (The idea that one of the songs that's been in every contest has a very good chance at finishing last in the X-stats is pretty funny, too--it's at 8.82% even if Servants of the Scourge wins it all.)

Raging Waves lives!!! Another crazy day that had my palms sweaty, mom's spaghetti. Two close matches marked by some long vote runs traded between opponents, then decided by 5 votes during the final hour. Great day to go 3/3 after yesterday's 0/2.

Heh... we owe it to FL81 for changing his vote from Battle to End of the Raging Waves (between the original match and the tiebreaker match). And...yeah, I can't remember the last time I went 3/3 in the same day. I'm surprised at how Level 1 beat A-Z so easily... in fact, I'm now kind of regretting having nominated Level 1 in the first place. >_>

These results are tragic.

One stupid vote. That's all that Chocolate Missile survived by last round. Ill Omen losing to Murderswarm would be an acceptable result, and I'm not even mad about RFTMIS losing; it was still an encouraging run for a Touhou song. (Though I'll still stick to nominating PC-98 era songs next year, at least for primary noms. I'll support Windows-era stuff of course.)
