Well, how many languages do you speak?

Just English and Japanese

Only English. I studied german in high school, spanish in college, japanese as a bit of a hobby and was taught a bit of korean when I took martial arts, but very little of it stuck.

Just English in terms of fluently. Know lots of words and phrases in Spanish and Tagalog (Filipino).

Enough to converse, 3 including my mother tongue - English, German & French, in that order of fluency (my gf is German, which helps).

I can manage reading
in a couple more than that depending on how well my brain is working any given day, and I have words & phrases in my head from about a dozen languages besides my own, all told: Irish, Scots Gaelic, Welsh, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Portuguese, Cantonese, Polish, Finnish, Latin, Russian (and of course French & German as previously mentioned, which I suppose makes it 14?).

Languages always were my best subjects at school. I won my grammar school's junior prize for languages, aged 14. And yet when it comes to numbers I have a learning disability. Curious how the brain works, isn't it?

english japanese korean, a little spanish that i learned in high school but mostly forgot now

I live in the US, so one.

There was a point after 7 years of high school and college French where I could almost read/write French in a pinch, but that's long since left my brain for the most part because I haven't used it once in 20 years. And I wasn't that good with it in the first place (I was better at reading/writing it than speaking/hearing it).

Other than that, I know a handful of words in Spanish and German, along with a few from Latin and a couple from other languages like Greek or Norse.

English, Dirty English, French, still learning Japanese. Friend just came from Tokyo whose English isn't great and we got by. Not fluent, not bad.

Native English speaker. I can speak enough Spanish to get my point across to other people, but not well enough to really understand them unless they talk slowly. I know enough German to sort of figure out simple written sentences, and I can read some Greek, but can't write, speak or understand them spoken. I know maybe a few dozen words of Biblical Hebrew.
